P. S.

If you have a blog, or a website, or comment on forums or other people's blogs, I would really, really, really, really appreciate it if you would put a link to my website on it. It will help me get ranked better in the search engines and therefore get more traffic which equals more business.

Thank you! in advance. :0)

It's up! Check out my new site!

Check out my newly revamped photography website!

I would love gushing praises for how wonderful it looks. :)

I'm only half kidding. I would also love honest feedback about it's functionality, visual likeable-ness, and such. For example, my mom doesn't think the background picture on the portrait side is the most appropriate picture. I don't know if I agree with her, but I appreciate that she told me so I can take it into consideration. Do you like how the galleries are set up? Do you like the layout? Is it easily navigated? PLEASE let me know what you think.

Thanks!
Sabrina

Moos

Emilia and I have this yo-yo relationship right now. We both think the world of each other. She makes me laugh so hard every day. And she makes me so mad that I have to walk away and blow off steam EVERY day. Often, I stop being upset because she makes me laugh, and that's just how it goes.

One thing that always makes me laugh is her learning to pluralize her non-words. Hence the title of this post; cows are not cows, they are moos. We also talk a lot about neighs, bak-baks, oinks, and ows (meows). Another one is "ooh-ahs." When I was little, my parents would say "ooh-ah" when we hugged them--like we were squeezing them too tight (ooh) and then letting go so they could breathe again (ah!). Well, I didn't necessesarily mean to pass that on to Emilia, but she picked it up and uses it all the time (she is a very affectionate little girl). Now she gives "ooh-ahs." haha

This is Emilia playing at the play area in the mall. She has a lot of fun and I love that she can wear herself out. She is not very adventurous and still doesn't like playing with other kids. (She usually glares at anyone who comes too close until they go away--she has a really good glare!)

The mall play area is right next to JCPenny. I was looking at the kids clothes and she found these Easter baskets. She carried both of them around the store until I made her put them down so we could go to the play area. Of course she threw a fit loud enough to hear across the store when I did. :)
She is SO verbal. She told me before doing this, "Mom shoes, big shoes!"
She still loves her "guys" (Little People) and for some reason thinks it's really fun to put them in her boots.
It's small, but it's there: Emilia's First Ponytail! Yea!
She was in the 95+ percentile for height again at her 18 month visit. 35 1/4 inches and 26 lbs. Sheesh.
Again, wearing her favorite hat and eating her favorite lunch, "stits" (fish sticks).

I just thought this was cute. :)
She has been learning her colors (again thanks to signing time) and currently thinks every color but pink and brown are blue, but can say the other colors if you tell her the right one.

In adult news...thank you all for your prayers, they worked. Steve got the job with Independent Study, and is liking the work. It's extremely flexible, which is good. It also makes it hard to have a steady amount of time set apart for working. Hopefully we'll get it down soon.

I've also been working two days a week as a substitute teacher. It's going well, even if it's not extremely lucrative. I was a little afraid of substitute teaching considering how much I remember disliking them as a student, but for the most part it's gone pretty smoothly and I feel like I'm learning a lot about classroom management and thinking on your toes. It will also help me renew my teaching license next year, which is an added bonus.

I've been neglecting everythin else in my life for the last two weeks, using all of my spare time to revamp my photography website. I'm hoping to get a lot of business this summer to help us keep afloat. It's turning out so well, and I'm excited for you all to see it. I'm hoping I'll have the new site up tomorrow. I'll do a post when it's ready.

I think that's it for now. Have a good last week of February!
